Turkey exported over 10,000 tons of Black Sea salmon to 24 countries around the world in 10 months of 2020
The export of Black Sea salmon from the Republic of Turkey increased by 33% from January to October 2020, which is up to USD 46 million.
The Association of Exporters of Turkey's Eastern Black Sea Region (DKIB) reported that 10,338 tons of Black Sea salmon were shipped to 24 countries around the world in 10 months of this year.
Russia, Vietnam and Romania remain the leading importers of Black Sea salmon from Turkey.
In 2020 France, Serbia, Hungary and Qatar also became importers of Black Sea salmon.
We think that this is very good news for Turkish economy.
